colophon
here be dragons…
and lots of scaffolding
how this site is made.
the stack
- static site generator: Jekyll
- theme: custom
- css: PostCSS/Tailwind
- hosting: Cloudflare
- source: GitHub
- editor: written in Obsidian/Neovim.
philosophy
this is my weird little corner of the interwebs. built with indie web in mind. I own my content, my links, my data. it’s really just a place to air out some thoughts and share my thought processes.
design decisions
I’ve written about some of the choices behind this site on the blog:
- building this site — the full story: stack, palette, layout, philosophy
- planting the digital garden — what a digital garden is, how mine is structured, why not a wiki
- from obsidian to jekyll — the plugin, the workflow, the air gap
Typography & Style
- Body font: (your font choice)
- Code font: (your monospace font)
- Color palette: (describe or link to it)
The word “colophon” originally referred to the inscription at the end of a book describing its production. This is that, but for a website.
